Wonder if You Should Seed Landscaping during the Autumn or Springtime?

Do you know that planting your landscaping during the fall time is an ideal time? If you didn't realize, it is fine since most people do not. Most people wait around for spring season to return for the landscaping to start. It is a very prevalent misconception.

Planting your landscaping during the fall is best. And the drought we have confronted this season has shown that to be true.

2012 proved to be very warm and waterless for Olathe landscape. There seemed to be a great deal of plant lose for many of our landscape customers. The heavily dedicated landscaping lovers came into fall seeing a great deal of the landscaping die.

One thing that we did observe is that all the landscaping which was withering had been landscaping which had been planted during the spring. An interesting thing is the fact that there were not any kind of difficulties with those that planted during the fall time of 2011. There is a very simple answer why this is.

You want a sturdy root system for your plants and fall time planting does just that. Having a robust and deep root system is crucial for your landscape to flourish. You see, the lower you go into the dirt, the more water there is. Landscaping that has superficial roots will probably have trouble staying alive during the high heat.

Now, the 2012 Landscaping Apocalypse we experienced had been a one off year of heat. Don't be overly afraid that if you don't plant during the fall of This year your 2013 landscape will die. If we have a great year you will likely be fine. This high amount of heat we all have experienced this season has proven the fact that landscaping in the fall makes for strong plants.

Here's a question though, if autumn planted landscaping made it through the drought, how well will fall time landscaping thrive during a season of amazing weather? With that said, if you take care of your landscaping now before winter, you will have a great deal less required maintenance and watering next summer because the deep soil moisture is going to be doing a lot of the work for you.

It's simply not true that putting together your landscaping in the spring is the best time of the year to do your landscaping. And it is obviously a definite plus to not be required to water and do landscape maintenance as much as you should with springtime planting.
